SF Pride...They have everything that you need to enjoy, You can hang out with all the boys ...

Sunday was the 40th Annual San Francisco Pride Parade, this was a truly amazing experience and I literally took over a 100 photos.  It was just incredible the colour, the costumes, the energy was so much fun and alive with everybody in such a happy and positive mood.  The parade started about half ten on Market Street and ended in Civic Square....

.....With everyone gathering around dancing, drinking, hanging out and parading around in a range of costumes and some in nothing at all. (why don't the beautiful people get naked??)  There was all sorts of stalls, food, clothes, jewellery and fabulous fairy wings for sale, which is where I bought a pair of green wings....other than that I looked positively conservative.  This experience was a definitely one of the most incredible things I have ever encountered.

I had for most of the parade a prime position on top of one of the San Francisco trash cans,(thank you SF city council) until a SF copper told me to get down :)(seriously people were naked and I got told off??) hence the huge amounts of photos I took.  This parade although loads of fun and all in good spirits has also many serious underlying and political messages that hopefully some of which got into the heads of the 100 000+ people there watching on the sidelines.

Nearly every LGBT group imaginable was represented in this parade from the citizens of Guam to SF Police and Fire Department to PFLAG to Leather boys and the beautiful and unforgettable Queens of the Floats with shoes so high I could only dream of walking in them for more than two steps without falling on my face.  All...looking absolutely fabulous....

I am so glad I went to this it was definitely an amazing and genuine San Francisco experience and I want to keep writing just so I can put in all the colourful and brilliant pics I took ;)...but seriously how many times and in how many different ways can you say 'San Francisco Pride Parade rocked!!!!'
