Vancouver to see Seattle

So my last day in Vancouver I hung out with Stephanie my easy going new friend from Geneva, it's really nice to meet people on your travels that you just click with. Although admittedly I can't say that for everyone I've met but the majority have mostly been nice.
Another bad weather day in Vancouver so the option of cycling or walking around Stanley Park was knocked on the head...(but was lucky enough to see a all women boat race on the way from the hostel....)

So instead we hung out at the Science Museum which was so much fun....besides the hoardes of children that I had to push out of the way to get a turn on stuff and do puzzles alot slower than. I learnt that I have the flexibility of a 17 year old, I can't run fast enough to power a lightbulb and I got to see what I'm going to look like at age 70 with the aid of very scary digitisation.  It was loads of fun and a great way to stay out of the rain.

<-------one of the puzzles I couldn't figure out.

After that it was on those cute little boats again and over to China Town for a huge dinner.

I was meant to have an early night but I just can't seem to do it so after 3 hours sleep it was onto the train and down to Seattle.  The view of the Puget Sound is incredibly breathtaking and kind of prevented me from going to sleep.

So Steph and I arrived in Seattle at around 11 dropped my stuff off at the Hostel (she's off to Chicago) then stopped by Cafe Bengodi for some very yummy italian pasta then hung out with Steph until her train left.  It was sad to see her go, I do like travelling alone but it is quite nice to hang out with someone and get to chat.

After Steph left I just chilled out at the hostel foregoing the pub crawl to stay in and watch very girly t.v. on my laptop and get an early night....tomorrow exploring Seattle.
