So I slept in again...
...which meant I got to the Portland Art Museum lateish where I got these pics...before I got in trouble by security blah! Art should be free...just like online educational resources, healthcare and bacon...all the good things. Then I blatantly flaunted the security again by taking more pics outside, oh yeah anarchy Mel.
At P.A.M. I met this fascinating guy called Bob, who is a very successful Portland based artist. We must've talked for over an hour about America, its political history since Regan, the public health care system, facism and capitalist greed. It truly was an interesting conversation and after saying goodbye I realised I had only an hour to get through this massive gallery. This gallery is comprised of two buildings of four floors and has a mixture of American Indigenous art, European paintings and some fantastic contemporary art. It's only $12 for entry into both buildings and by the way you can't take photos. ;)

Then I got a hankering for some more Voodoo doughnuts, I couldn't help myself as I rarely get to eat dairy free deserts. I went to town and got four, two for each arse cheek baby....watch that pushin' cushin' grow woo woo!!!!

So after doing two of my favourite things, seeing good art and eating good food. I thought maybe I could do a 'mash up' and combine two of my other favourite things. So I walked down to the Portland waterfront and ate doughnuts while watching other people exercise and smiled happily at them with bits of pastry around my gob while they glared at me redfaced and puffy....ahhhh schadenfreude...bloody love it.
