Countdown time...

Ok first blog entry ever...and I was pushed into doing this..thanks go to Kate, Lou and David...for this.

Thanks Kate for the web address idea...as MaliciousMel is my twitter account and maybe I would cease to be so Malicious once travelling hey?? This blog is also good for you lot cause if I update to it every day you'll know I'm not dead or injured...right? (No I'm not inserting a chip with heart monitor under my skin as suggested)

So I leave for New York on the 26th where I'll be staying with a new and wonderful friend Lynne who I was on holiday with in Thailand in December and January.

So yeah I get back from an amazing holiday in Thailand and do that thing that most people talk about - quit my job my house and just take off. It's funny cause when I did it no one seemed surprised and I have been given a resounding 'yes this is excellent and perfect, go go go' but this could just be because my mates are sick of my moaning to be honest.

So from now until the 26th of April the things I have to concentrate on are-:

1. Sorting all my belongings out
2. Packing all my stuff in various boxes
3. Leave my job and house
4. Move down the coast with my excellent mates
5. Organise my travel plans

Any more items that can be added to this list by friends will be welcome, I've got a feeling a certain very organised and bossy blonde will have a few things to add...

and no David I haven't forgotten the study/survey I have to create whilst on holiday to make this blog more interesting and additionally give me 'an in' with the men on my travels, other than my usual straight forward lines...
